Those original brass bat wing handles are the first thing you notice, and they are in remarkable shape for their age. The kind of hardware that gets replaced or lost over a century of use, so finding them intact across all four drawers is a genuine find.
Built from solid pine in the classic 2 over 2 layout, two short drawers over two long, with traditional keyholes sitting clean on each. The rolled top edge and plinth base give it a tidiness that lifts it above purely utilitarian country furniture.
The pine has developed a warm, honey tone naturally over more than a century of use. The grain shows beautifully across the larger drawers, and the surface wear is honest and even throughout.
It fits naturally in a bedroom, hallway, or landing, and pairs well with linen, aged brass, and other warm wood tones.
