Cabinets like this were the backbone of Victorian trade. Behind the counters of pharmacies, seed merchants, and watchmakers' workshops, organisation was simply non-negotiable, and this is what that looked like in practice.
Built around 1900 from solid pine, it was made to work hard and last. It has done both. The pine has deepened to a rich, warm tone over more than a century of daily use, and the surface carries the kind of wear that cannot be faked or rushed.
Twelve drawers, each still pulling cleanly. The structure is solid throughout, no wobble, no repairs, nothing hiding.
Pieces like this are genuinely difficult to find in this condition. Most have been painted over, modified, or simply used into the ground. This one has been kept well and it shows.
It works in a kitchen, a studio, a hallway, or a bedroom. Wherever it lands, it brings a kind of quiet utility that modern furniture rarely manages and never quite replicates.
