Bourne Denby's fluted jelly mould carries the kind of quiet confidence that only comes from something built to actually be used. Designed to turn out a perfectly shaped jelly or aspic, it's a genuine piece of mid-century English kitchen life. Bourne Denby, based in Derbyshire, produced stoneware that became a staple of the British home from the 1930s onward, valued for its durability and no-fuss honesty. The cream and brown glaze is instantly recognisable as their signature palette. Condition is good with minor wear consistent with age and use, adding to its lived-in character. It works beautifully on an open kitchen shelf, styled alongside other vintage pottery or simply kept in rotation as a functional piece.
