Few candlestick designs carry as much history as the beehive and diamond pattern. This set of three Victorian brass candlesticks predates the Diamond Jubilee celebrations that would later make this style iconic, giving them a quiet significance beyond their beauty.
The beehive and diamond column was a distinctly English design, produced widely by brass foundries in the West Midlands during the latter half of the 19th century. The stepped base, tiered column, and faceted detailing are all present in classic form.
These three have aged beautifully together, developing a rich, warm patina that no reproduction can replicate. Minor surface wear is consistent with genuine Victorian brass and only adds to their authenticity.
Grouped as a trio on a mantle or split across a dining table, they hold the room with quiet authority.
