Shelley (Wileman & Co.) Carnation Jardiniere - circa 1910

Made around 1910, when Shelley was still trading as Wileman & Co. and producing some of its most considered work. The carnation pattern is quietly beautiful — delicate florals handled with a lightness that feels effortless rather than fussy.
